Olivia Orwitz, LCPC
Olivia Orwitz is a licensed clinical professional counselor who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical and Community Mental Health, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, from Western Illinois University. She decided to become a therapist because she wanted to better understand how mental health affects people at different points in their lives. She strives to provide a supportive, non-judgmental, open environment where she can be open and direct with guests.
Olivia has experience working with people from many different backgrounds and age ranges, having worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Most recently, she’s worked with guests dealing with LGBTQ life struggles, anxiety, depression, OCD, disordered eating, addictions, sexual struggles, and ADHD. She often uses breathing and Mindfulness exercises, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with guests.
Those who know Olivia best would describe her as honest, loyal, adventurous, and always down to go get ice cream. In her free time, Olivia loves traveling to different countries and getting tattoos. A quote that she loves, by Mark Twain, states that “The two most important days in a person’s life is the day they are born and the day they find out why.”
Olivia is currently accepting new guests via telehealth and at our Naperville and Wicker Park studio.
