LaSheena Clark, LCPC
My name is LaSheena Clark, and I am excited to join the Willis CC Team. Individuals would describe me a kind, laid back professional with the goal of learning and developing positive relationships with others. I value professionalism , while also being relaxed and approachable. If i was to have a super power, it would be the storm whisper. I am often told that my voice alone is able to change the mood of a person in a positive way. I believe my personal life and experiences have played a major impact on my decision to go into therapy. I most wanted to be a therapist because I believe that recovery and support are life long processes.
I want to be a positive support for anyone wanting to be better versions of themselves. I am open to working with various populations, however pervious experiences include individuals impacted by Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder and major life stresses. I have used person centered, solution focused and holistic therapy in my previous work experiences.
When i am not working, I love spending time with family and friends doing small things. I consider myself a lifelong learner. I love cooking, crocheting and I recently learned how to ride a bike in the summer of 2020. To me, being an and inclusive and affirming therapist means accepting individuals for who they are, why they are and where they are while acknowledging and accepting their views of barriers and concerns impacting them form reaching their goals .
