Email about LaSheena

LaSheena is a licensed clinical professional counselor who earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. She decided to become a therapist after realizing that healthy outlets, coping skills, and shared experiences are needed for people to grow. She also recognized that there just weren’t enough positive resources to help people, so she wanted to be a small part of positive change.

Before teaming up with Willis CC, LaSheena worked with individuals dealing with major depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. At Willis CC, she’s looking forward to working with adults of various populations, including individuals, families, and couples.

Those who know LaSheena best would describe her as a kind, laid-back person whose voice alone is often enough to positively affect a person’s mood. She believes that recovery and support are lifelong processes, and she wants to be a positive support for anyone wanting to be better versions of themselves.

Hailing from Chicago, IL, Lasheena considers herself a lifelong learner who tries to find happiness in small things. In her spare time, she loves cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog. As an introvert by nature, she values listening and observing more than anything.

“Be the change that you want to see in the world.”
